On Wednesday, March 24, The Keith Crossan Big Band will be performing selections from his debut L.P. “Beatnik Jungle” at Biscuits & Blues in San Francisco, CA. Featuring Mike Rinta, Ed Earley, Tom Poole, Mike Olmos, Nancy Wright on horns with Ronnie Smith, Tony Stead, Scot Sutherland and Rich Healy heading up the rhythm section. Special guest appearance by Tommy Castro.

After a million miles of traveling, ten thousand gigs and 11 records with the Tommy Castro Band, Keith decided to form the Beatnik Jungle band. The music in this record reflects the experience of growing up and surviving as a musician. Big Band jazz, garage band rock & roll, R&B and even the late Folk scene in S.F. are things that shaped his sound.

Tommy was also nominated for Contemporary Blues Male Artist of the Year.
Keith Crossan was nominated for Best Instrumentalist – Horn.
“Hard Believer” was nominated for Best Contemporary Blues Album.
